Shock loads such as water hammer, slugs and pressure relief loads can impact a piping system. The pipe stress analysis program CAESAR II has a dedicated Dynamics Module for accurate analysis of these load types with inclusion of the dynamic effects. Two popular methods exist for the analysis of shock-type loads. These are the Spectrum Method and the Time-History Method.
The webinar will demonstrate the use of both methods and also explain the differences between the two.
