Two DRG presentations

Today DRG is presenting at two places at once. Earlier today one of our project engineers, Mick Bouman, gave a presentation at the 10th International Conference FRP Unlimited in Munich, Germany, on the ISO14692 edition 2017, the changes and its background. This conference is held for plant designers, engineers, end-users and plant operators to meet and discuss FRP material. This conference is to gain knowledge and exchange experience on this unique material. In November of last year Mick Bouman wrote an article on our website regarding the revised ISO 14692: 2017. DRG’s second presentation of the day is at the Dutch OpenFOAM User’s Group 2018 in Delft, The Netherlands. DRG is actively involved in the research and application for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Discrete Element Modelling (DEM). During the presentation one of DRG’s senior engineers, Wijnand Schoemakers, spoke on the advantages and disadvantages of the present OpenFOAM DEM implementation will be discussed and illustrated using academic and industrial examples.
