BOSfluids 8.0 Unifed Application Data Model
DRG » Knowledge Base Articles » BOSfluids 8.0 Unifed Application Data Model
BOSfluids 8.0 comes with many invisible changes that improve the quality of the software and prepare the way for the future developments. One such change involves the way in which the application data model is represented internally. By making significant changes to this model, it is now possible to open and edit piping models in different applications without any loss of data.
This means that you can create a piping model in BOSfluids 8.0, perform a transient flow analysis, and then open that same model in BOSpulse 6.0 for performing a pulsation analysis. Any changes to the model that you make in BOSpulse or BOSfluids will be retained when you switch back and forth between the two applications. This not only saves time but also paves the way for new applications performing other types of analyses with the same piping model.
