BOSfluids 7.1: Better support for model verification
BOSfluids 7.1 brings improved support for verifying a model in a visual way.
BOSfluids 7.1 brings improved support for verifying a model in a visual way.
The release of BOSfluids 7.1 brings improved support for modeling gas-filled piping systems. The addition of a new Custom Gas type, for instance, enables you to specify a complete equation of state in the form of a table listing all relevant gas properties as a function of both the temperature and pressure.
BOSfluids 7.1 implements a new cavitation model named the Homogeneous Vapor Cavity Model that addresses some of the shortcoming of the Discrete Vapor Cavity Model (DVCM) and the Discrete Gas Cavity Model (DGCM).
BOSfluids 7.1 brings several improvements to special flow element types, including check valves, regulator valves and generic equipment. These improvements increase the accuracy of your flow simulations, and lessen the time required to set up a model while reducing the scope for modeling errors.
BOSfluids provides extensive support for modeling a great variety of boundary conditions, both related to flow conditions and to the mechanical behavior of a piping system.
The latest BOSfluids release brings improved and extended Surge Vessel, Tank and Orifice element types. The Surge Vessel element has been extended with support for modeling vented air vessels.
The latest BOSfluids release comes with a new set up of the first two top-level tab pages in the user interface
BOSfluids not only provides support for sophisticated transient analyses, but also provides robust and increasingly advanced support for steady state and quasi steady state analyses. This is highlighted by the latest BOSfluids release that extends the steady state analysis type with support for parameter studies.
The BOSfluids element collection has been extended with a new element type for modeling shell and tube heat exchangers.
DRG is pleased to announce the next release of BOSfluids, version 7.0.
